Foundation Health Finland Oy and independent practitioners operating within its units. Foundation serves as the primary contact point for data subjects in matters related to the exercise of data-subject rights.
The primary personal data processed is healthcare customer data. Patient data are processed principally for the provision, organisation, planning, monitoring, and delivery of care. Customer data not relating to health information are processed for managing the customer relationship, customer service, and service development.
Patient data are retained for at least 12 years after the patient's death or 120 years from the patient's birth. Customer data other than patient data are retained for as long as the customer relationship exists.
Foundation uses a wide range of organisational and technical measures to ensure the security of personal data processing, including access management, strong authentication, and modern encryption technologies. We primarily process personal data within the EU/EEA.
You have the right to access your data, request rectification, request erasure where applicable, object to or restrict processing, and lodge a complaint with the Data Protection Ombudsman.
